Ingredients
Scale
For the Ravioli Bites:
1 package (9 oz) refrigerated cheese ravioli
1 cup Italian-style bread crumbs
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
2 large eggs
2 tablespoons water
Cooking spray
For Serving:
1 cup marinara sauce, warmed
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Breading Mixture:
In a shallow bowl, combine the bread crumbs, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
Prepare the Egg Wash:
In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and water until well combined.
Bread the Ravioli:
Dip each ravioli into the egg wash, allowing any excess to drip off.
Coat the ravioli in the bread crumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure the crumbs adhere well.
Place the breaded ravioli on a plate or baking sheet.
Preheat the Air Fryer:
Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
Air Fry the Ravioli:
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
Arrange the breaded ravioli in a single layer in the basket, ensuring they don’t overlap.
Lightly spray the tops of the ravioli with cooking spray to promote even browning.
Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 6 minutes.
Carefully flip the ravioli halfway through the cooking time to ensure even crisping.
Continue air frying for an additional 4 minutes, or until the ravioli are golden brown and crispy.
Serve:
Transfer the crispy ravioli bites to a serving platter.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
Serve warm with a side of marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes to the bread crumb mixture.
If using frozen ravioli, ensure they are fully thawed before breading and cooking.
Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket; cook the ravioli in batches if necessary to ensure they cook evenly and become crispy.
