Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) cake mix (any flavor)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • Optional mix-ins: 1 cup chocolate chips, sprinkles, or nuts

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil. Stir until well combined.
  • Fold in your choice of mix-ins, if using.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 9–11 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers look slightly soft.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • Experiment with different cake mix flavors like chocolate, vanilla, or funfetti.
  • For a festive touch, roll the dough balls in powdered sugar before baking.
  • These cookies are best stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
