Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: Balsamic glaze for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium oven-safe dish, combine shredded mozzarella, halved cherry tomatoes, chopped basil, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, olive oil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly combined.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly in the dish.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with extra basil leaves and drizzle with balsamic glaze, if desired.
  6. Serve warm with crusty bread, crackers, or vegetable sticks. Enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, try roasting the cherry tomatoes for 10 minutes before mixing.
  • This dish is best served warm but can be reheated in the oven at a low temperature.
