Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise or sour cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 (8 oz) can crescent roll dough
  • Optional: Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, mayonnaise (or sour cream), garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Open the can of crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
  4. Spoon about 1-2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each triangle. Roll the dough tightly, starting from the wide end, and tuck the ends under if needed.
  5. Place the rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • You can substitute cooked rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • Add a pinch of paprika or cayenne pepper for a little heat.
  • These rolls pair perfectly with a side salad or a creamy dipping sauce like ranch or honey mustard.
