Chocolate Peanut Butter Stacks are delightful no-bake treats that combine the rich flavors of chocolate and peanut butter with a satisfying crunch. This easy recipe is perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth or impressing guests without spending hours in the kitchen.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips
  • 1 cup salted peanuts
  • 2 cups chow mein noodles

Instructions

  1. Melt the Chips: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the milk chocolate chips and peanut butter chips. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until fully melted and smooth.
  2. Combine with Dry Ingredients: Add the salted peanuts and chow mein noodles to the melted mixture. Stir gently until all pieces are well coated.
  3. Form Stacks: Line a baking sheet with wax paper. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared sheet, forming small mounds or “stacks.”
  4. Set the Stacks: Allow the stacks to sit at room temperature until firm, about 2 hours. For quicker setting, place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

Notes

  • For added variety, consider mixing in mini marshmallows or substituting the chow mein noodles with crispy rice cereal.
  • Store the stacks in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days, or refrigerate for a firmer texture.
