  • 2 cans (12.4 oz each) refrigerated cinnamon roll dough with icing
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar

Instructions

  • Prepare the Oven and Pan:
    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
    • Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or a Bundt pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Mix Cinnamon Sugar:
    • In a medium bowl, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
  • Prepare the Dough:
    • Open the cans of cinnamon rolls and set aside the icing packets.
    • Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters.
  • Coat the Dough Pieces:
    • Dip each dough piece into the melted butter, ensuring it’s fully coated.
    • Roll the buttered dough pieces in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until well coated.
  • Assemble in the Pan:
    • Place the coated dough pieces evenly in the prepared pan.
  • Add Brown Sugar Mixture:
    • In a separate bowl, mix the remaining melted butter and brown sugar until combined.
    • Pour this mixture over the dough pieces in the pan.
  • Bake:
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the dough is cooked through.
  • Cool and Serve:
    • Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 5 minutes.
    • Carefully invert the monkey bread onto a serving plate.
    • Warm the reserved icing packets slightly, then drizzle the icing over the top of the monkey bread.
