This rich and creamy chocolate fudge is a festive treat that’s incredibly easy to make. With just a few ingredients and minimal preparation time, it’s an ideal homemade gift or a sweet addition to your holiday dessert table.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons Christmas sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy removal. Lightly grease the parchment paper with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Melt Ingredients: In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Microwave on high for 1 minute, then stir. Continue microwaving in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until the mixture is completely melted and smooth.
  • Add Vanilla: Stir in the vanilla extract until well incorporated.
  • Pour into Pan: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  • Add Sprinkles: If desired, sprinkle the Christmas sprinkles evenly over the top of the fudge, gently pressing them into the surface.
  • Chill: Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  • Cut and Serve: Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment overhang. Place on a cutting board and cut into small squares.

Notes

  • For a peppermint twist, add ½ teaspoon of peppermint extract along with the vanilla extract.
  • This fudge can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
