Ingredients

Scale

For the Sliders:

  • 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 pound deli-sliced roast beef
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional, for garnish)

For the Au Jus:

  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Sliders:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping the bottoms and tops intact as a whole sheet. Place the bottoms on a greased baking sheet or in a baking dish.
  2. Assemble the Sliders:
    • Layer the roast beef evenly over the bottom buns. Top with slices of provolone cheese, ensuring they cover the meat completely.
    • Place the top buns back over the cheese and meat.
  3. Make the Butter Topping:
    • In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Brush and Bake:
    • Generously brush the butter mixture over the tops of the sliders. Sprinkle with dried parsley if using.
    • Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake an additional 5–7 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted.
  5. Prepare the Au Jus:
    • While the sliders are baking, combine beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until warmed through.
  6. Serve:
    • Remove the sliders from the oven, slice into individual portions, and serve warm with the au jus for dipping.

Notes

  • Substitute Swiss cheese for provolone if you prefer.
  • Add caramelized onions to the sliders for an extra burst of flavor.
  • These can be made ahead of time and reheated for convenience.
