Soft, buttery, and garlicky knots made from pizza dough, perfect as an appetizer, side dish, or snack. These easy-to-make knots are brushed with a flavorful garlic butter and garnished with fresh parsley and parmesan for the ultimate indulgence.

  • 1 lb (450g) pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

For the Garlic Butter:

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese (optional, for topping)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Dough: On a floured surface, divide the pizza dough into 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a rope about 6-8 inches long and tie it into a simple knot. Place the knots on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  3. Bake the Knots: Bake the knots in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until they are golden brown.
  4. Make Garlic Butter: While the knots are baking, mix melted butter, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  5. Brush and Garnish: Once the knots are baked, immediately brush them with the garlic butter. Sprinkle with parsley and grated parmesan cheese.
  6. Serve: Serve warm and enjoy!
