Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (16 oz) can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 4 ounces mozzarella cheese, cut into 8 cubes
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • Prepare Biscuit Dough: Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a 3-inch circle.
  • Add Cheese Filling: Place a cube of mozzarella cheese in the center of each flattened biscuit. Fold the edges of the dough up and around the cheese, pinching to seal and form a ball.
  • Season and Arrange: Place the sealed dough balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Prepare Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
  • Brush with Garlic Butter: Generously brush the tops of each dough ball with the garlic butter mixture. If using, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top for extra flavor.
  • Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese bombs are golden brown.
  • Serve: Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly. Serve warm, optionally with marinara sauce or ranch dressing for dipping. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Cheese Variations: Feel free to experiment with different cheeses like cheddar, pepper jack, or a blend for varied flavors.
  • Storage: Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes to maintain crispiness.
  • Customization: For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter mixture.
