Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare Potatoes:
    • In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add cubed potatoes and cook until just fork-tender, about 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. Cook Chicken:
    • Season cubed chicken with 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning.
    • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
    • Add chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. Cook Shrimp:
    • Season shrimp with remaining 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning.
    • In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  5. Assemble Dish:
    • In a large baking dish, layer the cooked potatoes evenly. Dot with remaining butter pieces.
    • Layer the cooked chicken and shrimp over the potatoes.
    • Evenly distribute broccoli florets on top.
    • Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the entire dish.
  6. Bake:
    • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
    • Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Garnish and Serve:
    • Remove from oven and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
    • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes.
  • Ensure shrimp are fully thawed and patted dry before cooking to prevent excess moisture.
  • Fresh or frozen broccoli can be used; if using frozen, thaw and drain excess water before adding.
