This no-bake Oreo Mud Pie features a crunchy Oreo crust, a luscious chocolate pudding layer, and a fluffy whipped cream topping, all garnished with extra crushed Oreos for added indulgence.

Ingredients

Scale

For the crust:

  • 24 Oreo cookies
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

For the filling:

  • 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 8 oz Cool Whip (or whipped topping), thawed
  • 12 Oreo cookies, crushed

For the topping:

  • 8 oz Cool Whip (or whipped topping), thawed
  • Additional crushed Oreos for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust:
    • Crush 24 Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
    • In a medium bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs with the melted butter and mix until well combined.
    • Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish to form the crust.
    • Refrigerate the crust for about 15-20 minutes to set.
  2. Prepare the filling:
    • In a large bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk until it thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
    • Gently fold in 8 oz of thawed Cool Whip until fully combined, creating a light and fluffy mixture.
    • Fold in the 12 crushed Oreo cookies to add texture and extra Oreo flavor.
  3. Assemble the pie:
    • Spread the pudding mixture evenly over the chilled Oreo crust.
    • Top with the remaining 8 oz of Cool Whip, spreading it smoothly over the pudding layer.
    • Garnish with additional crushed Oreos on top for decoration.
  4. Chill and serve:
    • Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours, or until fully set, to allow the flavors to meld together.
    • Once set, slice and serve chilled.

Notes

  • Ensure the Cool Whip is fully thawed before incorporating to achieve a smooth consistency.
  • For a richer chocolate flavor, consider adding a drizzle of chocolate syrup on top before serving.
  • This pie can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
