Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 15 Oreo cookies, crushed

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter together until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the granulated sugar and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the flour and baking powder to the wet ingredients. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Gently fold in the crushed Oreo cookies until evenly distributed.
  6. Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to drop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. The centers may still look slightly soft but will firm up as they cool.
  8. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For a crunchier texture, refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes before baking.
  • Store the cookies in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
  • You can add extra crushed Oreos on top of the dough before baking for a decorative touch.
