This Peppermint Bark Martini is a creamy and minty cocktail that captures the essence of the holiday season. With flavors reminiscent of the classic peppermint bark candy, it’s an ideal drink to enjoy by the Christmas tree or at festive gatherings.

  • 1¼ ounces peppermint schnapps
  • ¾ ounce white crème de cacao
  • 1¼ ounces heavy cream or half-and-half
  • 2 tablespoons white chocolate chips (for rimming the glass)
  • 1 tablespoon crushed candy canes or peppermint candies (for rimming the glass)
  • Ice
  • Mini candy cane (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Glass:
    • Place the white chocolate chips on a flat plate and melt them in the microwave in 30-second intervals until smooth.
    • Dip the rim of a martini glass into the melted white chocolate, ensuring an even coat.
    • Immediately dip the coated rim into the crushed candy canes or peppermint candies to adhere.
    • Set the prepared glass in the refrigerator to allow the chocolate to set while you prepare the cocktail.
  2. Mix the Cocktail:
    • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
    • Add the RumChata, peppermint schnapps, white crème de cacao, and heavy cream or half-and-half.
    • Secure the shaker’s lid and shake vigorously for about 15–20 seconds until the mixture is well-chilled.
  3. Serve:
    • Retrieve the prepared martini glass from the refrigerator.
    • Strain the cocktail mixture into the glass.
    • For an extra festive touch, garnish with a mini candy cane on the rim.
