  • Base Layer
    • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
    • 1/2 cup sour cream
    • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
    • 1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • Topping
    • 1 cup pizza sauce
    • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
    • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices or regular pepperoni, chopped
    • 1/4 cup chopped green bell peppers (optional)
    • 2 tbsp chopped black olives (optional)
    • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the Cream Cheese Layer
In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning until smooth. Spread the mixture evenly in the bottom of an oven-safe baking dish (about 9 inches in diameter).
  3. Layer the Toppings
Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the cream cheese layer. Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top.
  4. Add the Pepperoni and Extras
Distribute the pepperoni slices evenly over the cheese. If using, sprinkle green bell peppers, black olives, and crushed red pepper flakes on top.
  5. Bake the Dip
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Serve Warm
Remove the dip from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with breadsticks, crackers, or veggie sticks for dipping.
