Brownie Bites:
1 box (18-20 oz) brownie mix (or your favorite homemade brownie recipe)
Ingredients needed for the brownie mix (typically eggs, oil, and water)
Toppings:
12 –15 fresh strawberries (washed, hulled, and dried)
1 cup whipped cream or frosting (store-bought or homemade)
Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Prepare the Brownie Bites:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin pan.
Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions.
Spoon the batter into the mini muffin tin, filling each about 3/4 full.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the brownies cool completely before removing them from the pan.
Assemble the Santa Hats:
Once the brownies are cool, place a small dollop of whipped cream or frosting on top of each brownie.
Gently press a strawberry, pointed side up, onto the cream.
Add a small dot of whipped cream or frosting to the tip of the strawberry to resemble a pom-pom.
Finish and Serve:
Dust with powdered sugar for a snowy effect, if desired.
Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator until ready to enjoy.
Notes
Make sure the strawberries are completely dry before adding them to the whipped cream to avoid the cream sliding off.
These are best assembled right before serving to keep the whipped cream fresh.
