For Boiling and Topping:

  • 8 cups water
  • ⅓ cup baking soda
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Coarse sea salt, for sprinkling

Notes

  • For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of garlic powder or smoked paprika to the dough.
