These juicy and flavorful turkey sliders are perfect for a quick meal, game day, or any casual gathering. Made with ground turkey, simple seasonings, and your favorite toppings, they’re a healthier alternative to beef sliders without compromising taste.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Sliders:

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (or almond flour for low-carb)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely diced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)

For Assembly:

  • 12 slider buns
  • Cheese slices (cheddar, Swiss, or your choice)
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Tomato slices
  • Pickles
  • Condiments (mayo, ketchup, mustard, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Turkey Patties:
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, onion, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Mix until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the patties tender.
  2. Shape the Patties:
Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions and shape them into small patties. Make them slightly larger than the slider buns as they’ll shrink while cooking.
  3. Cook the Patties:
Heat a large skillet or grill over medium heat. Lightly oil the surface and cook the patties for 3–4 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Add cheese slices during the last minute of cooking, if desired.
  4. Assemble the Sliders:
Toast the slider buns lightly if preferred. Spread condiments on the buns, layer with lettuce, tomato slices, turkey patty, and pickles. Top with the bun and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra juiciness, add a tablespoon of olive oil or grated zucchini to the turkey mixture.
  • These sliders can be made ahead of time and frozen. Cook as directed and reheat when ready to serve.
  • Swap slider buns for lettuce wraps to make these low-carb or gluten-free.
