These White Chocolate Blueberry Truffles are a decadent treat, perfect for any occasion. With creamy white chocolate and bursts of tangy dried blueberries, these bite-sized desserts are easy to make yet look and taste luxurious. Great for gifting, parties, or just indulging yourself!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (225g) white chocolate, chopped
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup (40g) dried blueberries
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (60g) powdered sugar (for coating)
  • 1/4 cup (50g) finely crushed graham crackers or white chocolate shavings (optional, for extra coating)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ganache:
In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just starts to simmer. Remove from heat and pour the hot cream over the chopped white chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Let sit for 2-3 minutes, then stir until smooth.
  2. Add Flavor:
Stir in the vanilla extract and fold in the dried blueberries until evenly distributed.
  3. Chill:
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2-3 hours, or until the mixture is firm enough to roll into balls.
  4. Shape the Truffles:
Use a spoon or small scoop to portion out the ganache and roll into 1-inch balls with your hands. If the mixture gets too sticky, dust your hands with powdered sugar.
  5. Coat the Truffles:
Roll each truffle in powdered sugar until fully coated. For an extra layer of texture, roll in crushed graham crackers or white chocolate shavings.
  6. Chill Again:
Place the coated truffles on a lined baking sheet and refrigerate for another 30 minutes to firm up before serving.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  • For a more vibrant blueberry flavor, consider adding a teaspoon of blueberry extract or freeze-dried blueberry powder to the ganache.
